Eight hour-long sessions on the foundations of how to live, communicate, and thrive with your dog. Great starting point for stable canine companions.
For reactive dogs I recommend private training or day training because we don’t want to put them in these situations until they’re ready.
About dog daycares
Sending your dog to a normal daycare can seem like a dream come true. Your dog comes home tired and interacts with other dogs and you may even get cute pictures or videos of them throughout the day. What could be the issue?
To me, sending your dog to daycare is more like dropping them off at Chuck-E-Cheeze for 8-9 hours than sending your dog to a productive summer camp. The days are often filled with chaos that looks fun until it isn’t. Like dog parks, daycares can miss subtle dog body language and even build bad habits that create a poorly socialized or potentially dangerous dog. If your daycare isn’t like this and your dog is exactly how you’d like them inside and outside of the home then you can disregard everything I’ve said, but if your dog is always at the end of the leash, doesn’t pay attention to you or is reactive, I might consider asking a couple questions. Because after all, wouldn’t a helpful service be eager to answer questions anyway?
Like a productive summer camp, we incorporate many of the fun aspects of daycare while working towards a better relationship, going on fun adventures with your dog, and developing a well-rounded member of the canine community. We’re a more personalized daycare focusing on helping your dog outside of daycare while fulfilling them during the day. Each dog is different so how we fulfill their needs will vary, but days could include making friends, visiting the river, or strolling around Riverbend’s beautiful nature walk.
With this more personalized approach, the cost and other factors may vary based on what you’d like to get from our doggy day train. Feel free to reach out and we can discuss what’s best for you and your dog.
We hope to hear from you to start this adventure!
We may be able to take larger breeds or intact dogs that other daycares can’t - reach out for more info
